Why She Built
Something Different
Sarah Bettis spent nearly two decades in acute care — five years as a bedside RN in a cardiovascular ICU, then a decade as a nurse practitioner in academic medicine's Cardiothoracic ICU. High-acuity patients. Complex cases. The kind of clinical thinking that demands you see the whole picture, not just one number on a chart.
The shift didn't come from a career pivot. It came from her own life. At 40, Sarah was simultaneously post-partum and perimenopausal — exhausted, working long ICU hours, and not fully recognizing what was happening to her body. Around the same time, a close friend who works as a pharmacist started talking to her about hormone care, and about how often women were navigating this transition without real support.
"I started paying attention to my own experiences and the experiences of women I love around me — and quickly realized we are not getting the care we need or deserve. We're often told 'everything looks normal' while knowing something isn't right. This inspired me to help make a change."
That's why Bettis Wellness Clinic exists. Not another place to dismiss your symptoms as 'normal', but a place where your symptoms are taken seriously, your care is built around your biology, and your provider has the dedication — and the precision — to get it right.
